Denison and Elison Lugo (DnE) were born in Salem, Mass on September 21, 1990. Born of Dominican Decent, this duo had the privilege of coming to this world hand in hand, being twins.

At an early age, the duo sparked a great empathy for music. Like most children, they were restless, but as if by magic, with music, they were calm in matters of seconds. From youth, with great ease, they learned to sing songs in Spanish and English and make their own versions, which had great creativity and quality, proving to everyone around them, they were born to make music, good music. It was not until years later that they made their appearance in public; their first appearance in public was thanks to their older sister, although young herself, even she realized the talent of her brothers and took them to sing at the church were their family attended, but this time she took them to sing as a duo, they had huge success among the audience, that this act reinforced their goals of becoming professional artists, while being applauded, they thought to themselves, we were born to sing. After this event and many similar events to follow, these twins ended up confirming that God had endowed them with the gift of being able to combine their sound with the times, taking on the arduous task of singing and composing their own songs, counting always on the support of their parents and family at each step.

Today these twins have a repertoire of music, which they eagerly wish to present to the public, so with great effort looking for a helping hand to help them meet their goal of making known to the world their voice and talent through music.

DnE, twins from Salem, MA, have a unique style of mixing their melodic voices and self-written poetic lyrics with bachata giving a refreshing sound to the genre. In their short time in music their talent has given them the opportunity to open shows for great artist such as Secreto, Frank Reyes, Johm Martínez, Monchi y Natalia, Luis Miguel Del Amargue, Kiko Rodriguez, Tony Dize, and Zacarias Ferreira. They have also appeared on tv shows such as Fernandito show, Sin Rodeos TV, and Orale con Veronica in Boston MA, Te están facturando on Color Vision in Dominican Republic and a llegado la hora also in DR. They have performed in various venues in Boston and the DR in places like Jowa’s, Libra Lounge, Fenix, Milky Way, District, O.M. Lounge, Felt, Centro, Cantina’s, Lo Nuestro Café, Bangkok Paradise, Lido’s Nightclub, MIT, Bentley and Tufts University. They have been in festivals in New York such as Carnival del Barrio. Their demo has been downloaded over 29,000 times on flowactivo.com.
