Mane de la Parra is a Mexican singer and composer who did his major in musical composition at Berklee College of Music.
He recently has collaborated with Mexican folk groups such as Insignia and Perseguidos, Grupo Cañaveral and Margarita and with Mexican pop artists like Yahir and Yuri.
In 2005 Mane received the BMI Peermusic Latin Scholarship Award during the BMI Latin Awards.
In 2006 was honored with the SCLAM Award (Student Club of Latin American Music) organized by the Berklee College Alumni Latin Association.
From his first album "Mane", his first single "Es Mentira" was ranked top 20 in the main Radio stations along the country and his second single "La Fórmula" was a top 15.
Mane also has recently participated in some of the most important soap operas as an actor in "Niña de mi Corazón", "Verano de Amor" and in 2011 / 2012 "Esperanza del Corazón" where he composed and performs the main song.
In December 2011 Mane is launching his second album, an EP named "Historias de Novela"
By 2012, Mane will appear in his first film as an actor in the main role in "El Cielo en tu Mirada" with actors like Jaime Camil, Aislinn Derbez and Natalia Lafourcade.
