Eli Jas celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

With Hispanic Heritage Month in full effect so is Eli Jas participating in campaigns as well as events throughout the month long celebration.
Currently Eli Jas is apart of Hispanic Heritage Month on Music Choice On Demand where they will be showing the best Latin videos of the year. Artists also apart of the month long campaign include 3Ball MTY, Farruko, Nayer, Jalil Lopez and more. Not only can you catch her all month long on Music Choice but also performing throughout various Hispanic Heritage events this month.
This past weekend Eli Jas performed at Festival Del Barrio in Springfield, MA as well as Riverbank State Park in NYC’s annual Hispanic Heritage Festival. Future events include her promotional tour in Canada as well as participation in PINK music concert to help build awareness of Breast Cancer in the NYC Latino Community.
About Eli Jas
With her Chilean, Panamanian and Dominican heritage Eli Jas is the quintessential native New Yorker. Born in Chelsea, in the borough of Manhattan 21 year old "Eli Jas" Is shaking up the Latin Music Industry. Armed with R&B phrasing, Pop melodies and a sultry voice. Her mash up of pop production over Bachata grooves is incredibly infectious. The concept and style stems from "Eli Jas" herself. "I have had many musical influences in my life" she says. “In my home we listened to Pop, R&B and traditional Latin styles. Combining the genres' felt totally natural to me.”
From the moment you hear the first synth stab on her debut single "Tú Me Haces Volar" you sense you are about to encounter something extraordinary. “The energy and attitude of my music reflects the many emotions women go through. When listening to my lyrics I want young women to be able to say, that’s exactly how I feel.” Now with the release of her second single “Deseandote” Eli Jas is showing the diversity in her musical sound. “Deseandote” is about a girl who is not getting the attention she wants from a certain guy and she's letting him know that he will lose her if he keeps ignoring her needs. It's very different from "Tu Me Haces Volar" because there is way more attitude and more movement. Throughout each song I release my fans will be seeing different sides of me and this is one of them,” expressed Eli Jas.
Eli Jas is in the studio now completing her EP. The Album tentatively titled “Eli Jas” is a love story. “It’s about the journey we all take once we enter into a relationship.” “The different emotions and trials we face while trying to make it all work.” Her EP is scheduled for a winter 2012 release and will give fans a taste of what to expect of her album to be released in 2013.
