nuvoTV’s hit series, MODEL LATINA: SOUTH BEACH turns up the heat on its hottest season ever on Monday, July 23 at 10:00PM (ET/PT) with the season’s finale. Throughout season five, ten gorgeous Latinas have competed in challenging shoots while navigating back-stabbing fellow contestants – always with a glowing smile. The women are drawn to the coveted title of Model Latina winner, as well as a prize package including $25,000 cash, a role as nuvoTV’s spokesperson and a prestigious contract with international modeling agency Q Management.
After weeks of fierce competition, four contestants were narrowed down to three finalists when it was discovered in last week’s episode that Rachell (of Miami, FL) lied on her application. Things really get fiery at the elimination ceremony when Rachell stormed out in a fit of rage after a pre-existing contract with a professional modeling agency is exposed – one she tried to keep secret. In the finale, the remaining three women -- Muriel of Hialeah, FL, Marlene of Patillas, PR and Onisys of Miami, FL -- seize their hard-earned opportunity to show the series’ panel of judges exactly why they are deserve to be named the newest Model Latina. So the question remains: which of these lovely Latinas can keep prove they have the beauty and the scruples to become the next big thing in modeling?
The decision rests with the judges’ panel, which includes international, heartthrob actor and recording artist Carlos Ponce (Couples Retreat, Alcanzar Una Estrella), sexy Victoria’s Secret supermodel Ines Rivero and renowned fashion photographer Franco LaCosta. Puerto-Rican sports reporter and dazzling TV personality Jocelyn Pierce, serves as the series’ host.
