Well if you are a netflix subscriber like I am, then hopefully you have already heard of the price hike that was announced about 2 or 3 months back. Originally my account was 9.99 plus tax for 1 DVD movie and unlimited streaming of movies but now the price has jumped significantly.
Netflix has changed their plans, so if you haven't looked into your account, then do not be suprised when your credit card gets charged more for their service.
Netflix has basically seperated their DVD mailings and their streaming services into two seperate entities; although you can still get both bundled together.
So Here is the breakdown for their new services.
Unlimited Streaming (no DVDs) $7.99 a month
Unlimited DVDs (no streaming) (1 DVD at a time) $7.99 a month
Unlimited DVDs (no streaming) (2 DVDs at a time) $11.99 a month
Unlimited Streaming + DVDs (1 DVD at a time) $15.98 a month
Unlimited Streaming + DVDs (2 DVDs at a time) $19.98 a month
Unlimited Streaming + DVDs (3 DVDs at a time) $23.98 a month
Unlimited Streaming + DVDs (4 DVDs at a time) $29.98 a month
Limited Plans - 1 DVD out at-a-time (limit 2 rentals a month) $4.99 a month
