SESAC Composer of the Year for two consecutive years, and the recent winner of the SESAC Latina 2012 Award for his No. 1 hit "Promise," Rico Love continues racking up impressive recognitions.
This time, the lovely bilingual bachata "Promise," performed by Romeo Santos and Usher, has been awarded the Premio Juventud 2012 by the Univision network in the category of Combinación Perfecta del Año (Best Duet).
In addition, the Mexican mega group Camila, represented at the Premio Juventud by group member SAMO, who's a SESAC Latina affiliate and a renowned singer/songwriter, took home the My Pop Artist category.
Broadcast across the United States, Puerto Rico and Latin America, this youth-oriented awards ceremony took place July 19 at Miami's Bank United Center. In addition to honoring the best in music, Premio Juventud also recognizes the biggest Latino accomplishments in sports, cinema and telenovelas.
