Braving a frigid February night (Friday the 25th), artists of all creeds decked out in their best attire made their way to PACHA (NYC). The Game Plan: Network with the latest providing the most vibrant in the entertainment business. The Event: STUART FILMS’ Three Year Showcase Anniversary. Why? Simple! Anyone involved in the latest pertaining to the world of TV/and or film-based productions knows the name behind the powerful empire. That name Boyz and Girlz is Emelyn Stuart. As CEO of STUART FILMS, LLC, this powerful Latina took the world of independent filmmaking by storm and surprise with great might due to her sweet, yet straight forward savvy ways of conducting business.
Baptizing her successes by not only producing, but winning awards with her first indie short ‘WINGS AND BEER,’ Emelyn’s domino of triumphant affect moved on to her current award winning webseries ’12-STEPS TO RECOVERY.’ Thriving upon the world of emerging artists from all angles, and compiling other projects under the umbrella of STUART FILMS, LLC, Emelyn has locked deals not only in her native city of New York, but Chicago (Poker show to regularly air on Comcast SportsNet) and Los Angeles (Two television shows and two full length features) as well.
Servicing the new world undertaken by her strengths, for the past three years, a major scope to her successes pertains to the actions taken by not only unleashing showcases displaying her latest masterpieces, but also allowing every soul she’s befriended and business acquaintance to mingle within themselves—allowing a possible turning point for both talent and those who put them to work!
Like all of STUART FILMS’ showcasing events, PACHA’s didn’t steer too far setting the pace by all the glitz and glamour when the event’s Red-Carpet broke the ice by presenting who’s who in the indie world of filmmaking/and or entertainment. From sponsors, to actors, from writers, to directors, and fellow peer heavy-hitting producers, it’s safe to say the cream-of-the-crop made their way and stomped grounds expressing their appreciation and gratefulness for not only attending one of NYC’s most prestigious events, but also for having had the opportunity to explore and grow at the hands of Emelyn Stuart’s blessings!
The event’s most interesting turning point took place at the venue’s VIP room. From one attractive presence to the next, the room was filled to the max to sounds of cheerful chatter while tunes from D.J. CEO played enhancing vibes. Friends who hadn’t seen each other since their last project, to the sounds of appreciation for having met someone, the aura in the room was positive and so overflowed, the atmosphere’s spirit was so contagious, it was merely impossible to walk out without having connected with someone.
As a flashing PowerPoint presentation displayed the names/logos of all sponsors across every angle in the room, the night’s festivities rolled on at the request of the event’s sexy host—POWER 105.1’s MALIKHA MALLETTE—leading to the moment many awaited. For some it was the magic of having a few minutes to express emotionally driven poetry, a musical note or a quick, yet, interesting preview of a play titled ‘BOX.’ Trust me when I say all acts were tightly presented, well versed and flawlessly unforgettable.
Attached to live performances where highly anticipated trailers. Whether a webseries or film, all trailers umbrella’d by STUART FILMS, LLC illuminated once again the level of power behind those involved. All freshly premiered, much was left to the imaginations of everyone in the room as enticing questioning began. All vibrant, like ‘BOYZ, GIRLZ & SPARKZ,’ (A webseries pertaining the all that entails high school lifestyles), to ‘HEADS OR TAILS’ (A soon to be HBO Short Presentation), Emelyn Stuart never ceases to raise her bar of untouchable creations!
Amidst all presentations, the night also provided a lucky winning soul with a raffle entailing a seven (7) night resort stay in Puerto Plata, Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic).
Overall, for a night that started off with damn-near sub zero temperatures, it sizzled pretty quickly with all the body heat generated by love, respect and admiration, while tangled and trapped upon artistic tentacles.
