Street poet, Tego Calderón, is proud to present the world premiere of "Cosas Que Pasan" (Things That Happens), the third video from his latest mixtape 'The Original Gallo del País - O.G. El Mixtape'. The video is set to be premiered today on VEVO.
"The creative direction of the video was executed by director Alexis Bousquet. The style is direct and to the point, as is the song," were the words of Calderón.
"Cosas Que Pasan" (Things That Happens) was recorded in Santurce, a district of San Juan, Puerto Rico that been emblematic in the life and career of the Puerto Rican rapper. This is "El Sitio" (The Spot) where Tego Calderón currently has his headquarters and studio, serving as a creative refuge where many of his most recent songs were born.
The video is in line with the concept of his latest mixtape, 'The Original Gallo del País - O.G. El Mixtape', which is about honesty and his perspective on some of the deeper social problems in Puerto Rico's society.
The mixtape, which was released this past June, has had a staggering amount of success earning him his fifth Latin Grammy nomination for the thirteenth edition of the Latin Grammy Awards in the category Best Urban Music Album.
