The Latin Mixx Conference & Awards, Presented by Hennessy, joined their forces for the Latin Mixx Re-Mixx Series. These additions of the Latin Mixx Conference & Awards were extended to Miami and Los Angeles, as the event’s influence grows beyond its original New York City event offerings. The growth of the Conference & Awards further reflects the ever-growing influence of Hispanic culture, and specifically Latin music.
The Latin Re-Mixx Series kicked-off in Los Angeles on June 6th, which proved to be an amazing success, hosted at Citywalk’s Infusion Lounge and featured today’s DJs, Artist and Producers discussing on how to set the standard and self-branding.
In attendance were the Latin Mixx Awards West Coast Nominees, moderator-Female Radio Personality Raq C of LA96.3 fm, panelists Robert Issacs, Gustavo Lopez, Manny Gonzalez, DJ Eddie One, DJ Laz, Khool Aid and a special Skype panel discussion with Metta World Peace.
The second edition of the Re-Mixx Series was set in Miami, Florida on June 14th at The Albion Hotel in Miami Beach. This event brought together Miami’s influential industry representatives and dove into Miami’s rich and dynamic Latin music. Monster cable was a proud sponsor of Latin Re-Mixx Miami, providing attendees with gift bags packed with Monster promotional gifts.
The Albion gathered The Down South Latin Mixx Nominees as well as artist and moderator, Sito Rocks, Mingo Marrero, Marlin Pena, Angela Martinez, DJ Africa, Enrique Santos, DJ Blass and special appearance by Tego Calderon. The conversation flowed from the current digital age and the importance and interaction of social media.
