BACHATA ROYALTY with Andre Veloz

On Episode 20 of the new season on ReVolver, the crew talks about how they spent their Mother’s Day.  Rachel and Jaime recap the Room 28 sketch comedy competition they won over the weekend. Mike reveals the very loud secret weapon he used to cheer them on from the audience. We also look back at some of the highlights from the NYC Indie Film Festival we attended (and also won an award at!)

On “Bochinche Bites”, Jaime tells you all you need to know about the upcoming Royal Wedding (including how much liquor they’re going to have), breaks down the Supreme Court ruling to legalize sports gambling with a little help from LOL intern Eddie V., and gets into a verbal “basebrawl” with Mike about next week’s LATINOS OUT LOUD Mets Ticket Giveaway Contest.

Put your winter clothes away as you listen to Rachel’s “LOCA LIST” where she counts down the “Top 5 Things People Do As Soon As The Weather Gets Nice.”

This week in “Frankspiracy News”, Frank goes in on “OPERATION FISHBOWL”, an unbroken treaty and operation the government did in the 50’s with other nations, that puts perspective on the shape of the Earth.

The crew interviews singer and songwriter Andre Veloz. We find out about all the obstacles she’s had to face as a female singer in the male-dominated world of Dominican Bachata, how she reconnected with her roots in New York City after moving here from DR in 2004, and she even serenades the group with an impromptu theme song for our fans: “The LOLeros”.
