One of the greatest experiences at NYCC is Artist Alley. That’s where you meet some of the most interesting, talented artists in the world. What makes them stand out is the work that jumps out and catches ones’ eye. It grips your attention. Colombian artist Catalina Murcia is one we came across with while strolling the alley. Never holding back on what piques our interest, we approached. Her specialty… the art of silent comics. A style in which you, as a viewer, goes along the strip and interpret the images as you see fit. You create the story. Bright, talented and enthusiastic about her work, Catalina granted us a couple of minutes to learn more about her and her interesting, unique craft.
