No question the ‘X-Men’ series has had its fair share of vibrant cast to portray those magnificent mutants.
One of its stars, Jennifer Lawrence, who took over the role of Mystique back in 2011’s ‘X-Men: First Class’ has dropped a bomb. Making it clear during an MTV interview, “it is my last one†she expresses when referring to 2016’s ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ set for release next spring.
This makes Lawrence the second cast member to inform ‘Apocalypse’ would be it. Nicholas Hoult, whose role of Beast started back in 2011 as well, in an E! Online interview also mentions of his final appearance in the upcoming film.
As Hollywood’s hamster-wheel turns, this wouldn’t be the first time the ‘X-Men’ series would undergo casting turnover. Remember Rebecca Romijn’s appearances as Mystic? Coming in at number two, Jennifer Lawrence’s addition to the series no doubt elevated it to new heights since her ‘Hunger Games’ and award-winning success!
Knowing how this game is played, we can rest assured we WILL NOT SEE the end of Mystic. However, after ‘Apocalypse’ we WILL SEE the end of a dynamic, unique portrayal.
