This is Ana Tijouxâ€™s first New York performance in 2 years, and follows the critical and commercial success of her new album â€˜Vengo,â€™ which reachedÂ #2Â on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Album charts and debuted #1 on the iTunes Latin charts, where it remained on top for multiple weeks.
The critically-acclaimed album has earned strong praise and multiple features atÂ Rolling Stone, New York Times, NPR, Newsweek, Spin, Billboard, Slate, Latina, Mother Jones, OkayPlayer and Wax Poetics.
Ana Tijoux recently performed withÂ Lauryn Hil, MC LyteÂ andÂ Jean GraeÂ at â€˜Rock Like A Girlâ€™ at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
