Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Camila Luna obtains her first Latin Grammy nomination for Best Pop / Rock Album for her album FlamboyaÌn.
Camila will attend the award ceremony on Thursday November 19th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas (Nevada), which will be broadcasted through the Univision Network.
Camila Luna presented the album FlamboyaÌn as a collection of original songs with a very honest and natural sound written by her and produced by JosÃ© Luis Pardo from Los Amigos Invisibles. Since the release of single “FlamboyaÌn”, the album has drawn the attention of critics and fans alike. The video, which Camila herself filmed using an iPhone, captures the essence of her sound and style as she takes a nostalgic and sentimental tour of her childhood through her native country Puerto Rico.
After the Latin Grammy nomination, Camila will record the video for her second single “Siento”, which will be filmed in Los Angeles on September 30th and October 1st. Â The idea of the Â Californian vibe where she will be driving a classic Ford Mustang along the Pacific’s coast. Carlos Reyes will direct the video under the production of Talkshop Studios.
On October 3rd, Camila Luna is scheduled to perform alongside Latin Grammynominated producer and re-mixer Mr. Pauer at the 2nd edition of the Supersonico Festival in Los Angeles.Â The event will take place at the legendary Hollywood Palladium where Camila Luna will share the stage with renown artists such as: Â Ximena SariÃ±ana, Aterciopelados, and Kinky among others.
Aside from her singing career, Camila Luna studied poetry at the University of Miami where she received her degree this past May.
