"Disney’s PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE Flies Higher Than Ever!"

Adventure flies higher than ever before in this sequel to Disney’s Planes!

PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE is a delightful new adventure pertaining to second chances, exposing an incredible crew of hard-working, elite firefighting aircraft devoted to protecting historic Piston Peak National Park from those raging fires! When world-famous air racer Dusty (Dane Cook) realizes his engine is doomed and he perhaps may never race again, he shifts gears and finds interest in the world of aerial firefighting. Dusty joins forces with veteran fire-and-rescue chopper Blade Ranger (Ed Harris) and his fearless crew, including spirited air tanker Dipper (Julie Bowen), heavy-lift helicopter Windlifter (Wes Studi), ex-military transport Cabbie (Captain Dale Dye) and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. As a team, the courageous bunch battle massive wildfires and Dusty drastically learns what it takes to become a true hero!

Whether or not PLANES deserved a sequel will be a topic of discussion once FIRE & RESCUE hits theaters. However, no matter where one stands, it’s the little ones that’ll determine the outcome of this would-have-probably-been-straight-to-DVD piece. That said, parents, you have yet another reason to “do away” with the little ones for a bit.

The end result for FIRE & RESCUE was one I simply enjoyed because not only did it provide charm and chuckles, it’s a cute, adventurous story full of drive, will, heart and crafty displays on second chances. It continues a delightful underdog story we left back with the film’s predecessor, but most importantly… It’s also a respectful tribute to the brave men-and-women who risk while others run.

With blazing new characters to endure and high, fun stakes that challenge Dusty like never before, PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE connects well by presenting a little for both children and adults.

During the weekend of July 11-13, 2014 the good people at Disney granted me access to their world once again by not only sharing thoughts regarding the film and characters with voice talent Erik Estrada and Danny Pardo, but also an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience drawing lesion by one of Disney’s talented artists, Art Hernandez.

Take a look and enjoy!
