Gepe, the Chilean pop superstar, marks a milestone in his career with a full-length tour through the United States, following an appearance at the acclaimed Vive Latino festival in Mexico City.
Gepe (born Daniel Riveros) emerged from the Chilean underground about a decade ago with his innovative interpretations of traditional Chilean music. He has since gone on to perform on the most prestigious stages in the country (including Viña Del Mar), has earned the praises of the iconic folk singer Violeta Parra, and has stunned international audiences with his ability to blend infectious pop music with traditional elements.
His latest album, Estilo Libre, was named one of the Best Latin Albums of 2015 by Rolling Stone Magazine, who claimed ‘Estilo Libre is Gepe’s most ambitious and bombastic effort yet: a picture postcard from the future of Latin pop.’
