Hispanic-Bolivian MC and producerÂ Hector GuerraÂ will be releasing his second albumÂ “Gracias Por Existir”Â on his own labelPachamama Dreams, and will be performing his new material on his U.S. summer tour which kicked off this week. Tour dates include his performance at Super Estrella’s Super ReventÃ³n at the Staples Center, among other confirmed dates around the country
“Gracias Por Existir” was entirely produced by Hector Guerra himself. The album was recorded and produced in various and distinctive locations: Los Angeles, Barcelona and Mexico DF. Invited guests that appear in the album includesPanteÃ³n RococÃ³, Las Cafeteras, El Rey De La Cumbia Sonidera, Alberto Pedraza, Morodo, and Professor Angel Sound.
Hector Guerra’s first two singles “Fantazy”Â and “Gracias Por Existir” which features PanteÃ³n RococÃ³, both have released videos giving us a taste of what’s to come following his critically claimed first studio album “Amor” that includes the hits “What up?”, “Historia de un Amor”, “El Tiempo No Mira Pa’tras” and “Fallen Angels.“
Originally from Spain, son of Bolivian parents and based in MÃ©xico and California, Hector Guerra is known for hisÂ electro-LatinÂ crossover style.Â His particular sound embodies the lyricist element of hip hop, the beat elements of dancehall, the mystifying element of Andean music, the faith element of reggae, the flavor of cumbia, and the core of electronic music. He mixes all of these genres to help him personally create and describe the rhythms of the world.
