The Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) has announced its entire showcase lineup for this year’s 11th Anniversary. With a warm welcome from the Big Apple, the biggest event in the world for cutting-edge Latin music runs from July 6th – 10th. Given the economic times, the LAMC and Jack Daniel’s have joined together to make advance conference registration cost only $99 for all attendees, proving to be a value networking opportunity. Walk-up registration at the conference will still cost $299.
Featuring leading artists as well as many of the music industry’s most prominent decision-makers, the highly-anticipated 11th Annual LAMC is a “must play” event for developing and established acts alike. The artists for this summer’s Central Park SummerStage and Celebrate Brooklyn showcases range from Chilean hip hop artist Ana Tijoux and Tijuana’s electronica icons Nortec Collective Presents Bostich + Fussible to Argentine reggae master icon Fidel Nadal and Los Angeles’ culture mashers Ozomatli.
“The Latin Alternative Music Conference brings thousands of people together to celebrate talented Hispanic musicians every year,” said Mayor Bloomberg. “Working together with the Latin Media and Entertainment Commission, the LAMC is one of the many events throughout the year that continue to make New York City the global capital of Latin media and entertainment.”
With past conferences averaging more than 1,250 music industry attendees and 25,000 concert fans each year, the 11th anniversary of LAMC promises to be yet another exciting year. This five-day conference providing networking opportunities with the genre’s leading artists, label executives, journalists, marketers, managers, retailers and programmers, is the most extensive to be offered by a music conference to date.
This year’s highly-relevant and timely panels will include many of the music industry’s most prominent decision-makers. These are this year’s topics:
