Rock in Rio has announced that ManÃ¡ will perform on the Main Stage duringÂ Rock in Rio USAÂ´s first weekend, taking place in Las Vegas on May 8-9 and 15-16, 2015. The band will be taking the stage on May 8, the same night as No Doubt.
ManÃ¡, who played at the 2012 Madrid edition of the festival, has built a long and successful career, having earned four Grammy Awards, seven Latin Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards Latin America, six Premios Juventud awards, fourteen Billboard Latin Music Awards. ManÃ¡ has set records in album sales and concert attendances in Latin America – more than 25 million albums worldwide sold and 11 unprecedented sold-out shows at the Los Angeles Staples Center.
The band’s sound draws from the pop rock, Latin pop, calypso, reggae and ska music genres. The band has received international success in Australia and Spain and have since gained popularity and exposure in the US, Western Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. No other Latin rock act sells more albums or arenas with the consistency of ManÃ¡.

ManÃ¡ is the latest addition to an already stellar lineup that includes Bruno Mars, No Doubt, Metallica, Linkin Park, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Rise Against on the Main Stage.Â Rock in Rio has also announced initial artists for the festivalâ€™s Sunset Stage including Deftones, Sepultura, John Legend, Coheed and Cambria and Joss Stone.
Rock in Rio USA will take over the Las Vegas Strip for the first time on May 8-9 and May 15-16, 2015.Â The City of Rock will host more than 100 performances over 4 days. The venue will also host three Rock Streets that capture the sounds and culture of Brazil, UK and the U.S. with dozens of performers, bands and street artists, as well as an Electronic Stage.
