"Nicole Releases Indie-Pop Album “Panal” April 21"

NicoleNicole will release her album “Panal” via Nacional Records on April 21st. Known for her previous collaborations with musicians like Gustavo Cerati, the Latin Grammy nominatedsinger’s latest is an experiment with an indie-pop sound that includes electronic beats, synthesizers, acoustic and electric guitars layered over lyrics that touch upon family, fertility, faith, fear and romance.

Produced by Cristián Heyne, “Panal” was a top-selling album upon its release in Chile and is an emotionally intimate and revealing portrait of Nicole. The album contains the singles, “Baila,” “Romanticos,” and “Pequeñas Cosas Buenas.”

On the making of the album Nicole notes, “I recorded the album while I was pregnant with my youngest daughter… and being a mother and going through the experience for a second time makes you see and feel things in a different light. At the same time, I also lost my mother during that period, so all those mixed feelings of profound loss, anticipation and happiness came out through my writing.”

Nicole was a child star and had her first Gold Album in Chile at the age of 12. It was recently announced that she’ll be participating as a coach on the reality television competition “The Voice Chile.”

Nicole was previously signed to Madonna’s record label, Maverick, and has worked with Gustavo Cerati, Tito Dávila (Enanitos Verdes), Francisco González (Lucybell) and Pedro Frugone (La Ley) amongst others.
