SESAC Latina’s talent makes a strong and broad showing among the finalists of the upcoming
Premios Billboard.

These nominations are based on physical and digital-product sales, streaming and airplay at Latin radio in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Award categories and genres include vocal collaboration, pop, tropical, Regional Mexican, album and artist of the year, digital and streaming, and publishing company of the year.
Standing out among the finalists is the Colombian singer and songwriter J. Balvin, who appears in several categories for his hit “6 AM,” represented by SESAC. Also prominent in this year’s announcement is the Regional Mexican powerhouse Calibre 50, which appears in such categories as Regional Mexican Songs Artist of the Year; Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group; and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Duo or Group.  “Odio” performed by Romeo Santos, co-written by SESAC affiliate Rico Love, in the categories Hot Latin Song Vocal Colaboration, Song of the Year Airplay, Song of the Year Digital, Song of the Year Streaming, and Tropical Song of the Year.
Another finalist, Luciano Luna Díaz in the category Composer of the Year.  Luna was namedSESAC Latina Composer of the Year 2014, and his songs have been recorded by such prominent artists as Banda El Recodo, Julion Alvarez, Recoditos, Luis Coronel among others.
The 2015 edition of Premios Billboard takes place April 30 and will be telecast live by Telemundo from the Bank United Center at the University of Miami, Fla.
