Recording superstar, actress and mother Jennifer Lopez – whose new movie, The Back-Up Plan, is already earning critical acclaim – appears on the cover of DTM Magazine’s May 2010 issue. The issue, which is dedicated to mothers, also features such notable Latina moms as Christina Aguilera, Nicole Richie, Rita Moreno and Lucie Arnaz.
Lopez, who plays Zoe in the new romantic comedy that co-stars Alex O’Loughlin (The Shield) and Anthony Anderson (Law & Order), gave an interview to DTM’s associate editor Bernadette Giacomazzo, where she talked about her co-stars (whom she “loves”), her upbringing, and her four-legged co-star, Nuts.
“Ms. Lopez, along with many other famous Latinas, is redefining pop culture in America, and we are happy to have her grace our cover,” said Juan Guillen, publisher of DTM Magazine.
Besides a special section dedicated to Jennifer Lopez and other Latina moms, the May 2010 issue of DTM also features an exclusive interview with counterculture legend Richard “Cheech” Marin (of Cheech & Chong fame), an exclusive interview with Hannah Montana star Moises Arias, and an exclusive interview with Armando Montelongo of A&E’s hit series Flip This House.
Finally, May 2010’s issue also features exclusive photos from NYC’s 2010 Tribeca Film Festival (where Latinos such as John Leguizamo, Marisol Thomas, Cameron Diaz, and Antonio Banderas brought bi-cultural power to one of the most influential film festivals in the world) and Miami’s 8th Annual Heineken Transatlantic Festival (featuring Latin rhythms from all over the world).
DTM’s mission is to influence a new generation of lifestyle-conscious Hispanics through original, bilingual/bicultural content that defines trends, promotes diversity, discovers emerging talent, and celebrates Latino culture.
The Back-Up Plan is in theatres on April 23rd, 2010.
