It goes without saying how many classic film John Hughes has made. We are talking about Home Alone, Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club (One of my favorites), Ferris Bueller’s Day off, Weird Science, Sixteen Candles, Mr. Mom, and the list goes on.
But did you know that Home Alone is one of the most beloved live action comedy movies ever? I mean seriously. You can show that movie to a child today and they would love it. Well maybe Part 1 and questionably 2.
and now we have a new illustrated story book that basically covers the great story that part 1 had with a great look to it. Kim Smith which illustrated the new Home Alone story book said that she wanted to give the illustrations a 50’s kind of look to keep the characters recognizable.
