The all-new “The Devils Are Here†season premiere episode of EMPIRE airing Wednesday, Sept. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Empire returns for a brand new season. The show that Sparked a number one selling album and turned up and coming Artists to stars brings its brand of drama fueled music back to FOX.
All the original cast returns with a few special guests. Mainly Oscar Award winner Marissa Tormei and Chris Rock.
As we left season 1, Lucious Lyons (Terrence Howard) was arrested on suspicion of murder. Cookie (Tarjiri P. Hensen) stages a star-studded #FreeLucious concert in his support, while scheming with Andre, Hakeem, Anika and is seen canoodling with a potential investor; the business savvy Mimi Whiteman (guest star Marisa Tomei) to finalize the hostile takeover of Empire. Meanwhile it seems like every family member is out to create a hostile takeover in hopes of acquiring Empire.
As everyone maneuvers for power the plot twist thickens.
“Game Over Bitches” … family feuds heat up as backstabbing comes to the forefront.
Cookie’s past comes back to haunt her. A gift from an old friend threatens her very exist and and that of her family!
But wait. While you sit and try to settle what you have just witnessed, another plot twist emerges as Cookie visits Lucious and asks him to “fix” something.
