There are so many people that get their latest music fix using YouTube. The company that allows content creators, labels, artists, marketing firms and normal users to upload their own content has been at the forefront of the music revolution for years. But there was always something that was missing with it. Think hard … ok so you listen to a song on youtube via your phone and you lock your screen – pow! the music stops playing. Damn you YouTube!
Well that is no longer the case. How you may ask? well Youtube has just launched their own app called “YouTube Music” for IOS and Android! Yesss.. this is a game changer if you ask me. I mean this is one more step in the realm of artists being able to push the music out. Now while I don’t know if they are paying royalties to artists and such in their whole sphere of music, we do know that if you partner it up with Vevo you could get paid.
with that being said, I will take this time after writing this quick post to play with the app more! but sorry the rest of the world. YouTube Music is ONLY available in the U.S. for now.
