Since launching in 1977, snowboarding company Burton is one of the leading and innovative brands for extreme sports. Mostly known for its “Burton Board”, which created a fine ride for snowboarders and changed the game of the sport. I never heard of the brand until I attended its launch party for their new collection Married to the Mob at its Soho Flagship. MTV’s Ridiculousness Chanel West Coast is the spokesmodel for MTTM. As I stepped into the event, I was intrigued by the quality and versatility. I toured the store and checked out most of the collections ranging from glasses, backpacks, boots, clothing and snowboards. Despite being mostly a sports store, you can still buy products of your liking. Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. and FRYE are also partnered with Burton creating an original and modern style for men and women.
Chanel West Coast was the host of the evening and was very fan friendly. She spoke with the press, guests and took pictures with anyone who was interested. I had the opportunity of meeting her and loved her bubbly personality. She is exactly who she is on TV and wore some of MTTM. The bomber jackets and skinny sweatpants are my favorite parts of the collection. They are not only stylish, but look very warm and comfy for the winter. MTTM is a part of Burton Girls, which is an online community designed by girls for girls. It is a dedication to snowboarding and lifestyle of fitness, fashion, music and more.
