Corriente Latina As always at the American Music Awards, artists were honored in the genres of Pop/Rock, Alternative Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Adult Contemporary, Contemporary Inspirational, Latin, EDM, Soundtrack, New Artist of the Year Presented by Kohl’s, Song of The Year, Collaboration of the Year Un-leashed by T-Mobile and Artist of the Year.
This year the multi-talented Jennifer Lopez held the honor of hosting the 2015 American Music Awards and in total JLo Fashion she began the show with a Dance medley that was amazing.
Amazing to the point that my wife caught me standing my the tv like I was 12 years old again. This years AMA’s included performances by 5 Seconds of Summer; which I’m sorry – didn’t really impress me, Justin Bieber who literally made it rain at the show, Coldplay who had a great set, Celine Dion and her magical voice, Selena Gomez who’s song and choreography was immaculate, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, One Direction, Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, WALK THE MOON, The Weeknd, duets from Meghan Trainor and Charlie Puth and so many more.
Performance of the night
If you ask me, that title has to go with the shows headline act – Justin Bieber. This young phenom of the music industry has made a total transformation and is back in the hearts of the public. His performance is what separates artists from being good to being great!
