Review: “Again” a Short Narrative (Tribeca 2017)

“Again” a Short Narrative

This short narrative from Tribeca 2017 is an 11 min journey of a man;Morrison Keddie, that watches Groundhog Day over and over and over again.  This excellently thought out short captures both sides of the coin. The mundane routine that eerily resembles the movie being watched, sets the tone for the short. The quirky twist of having the man’s favorite movie be Groundhog Day adds a subtle comedic dusting on top of what many could consider a very hard life for both individuals. The wife played by Aubrey Dollar captures the frustrations and glimmers of hope that probably occur when dealing with this situation. For 11 minutes you are weaved into the storyline and sets yourself into both their shoes.
