NYFW is in full swing and taking the city by storm with its lineup of events. American Association of Orthodontists hosted a special evening to kick off the celebration before opening day. The private event was held at Columbus Circle and partnered with InStyle magazine to bring fashion and healthy smiles together. The pop-up was filled to capacity as guests visited vendor stations, open bar and live demonstrations of must-have beauty and accessory brands. Bracket Ears, Sephora, The Art of Shaving, and Shock Doctor were the participating vendors and each showcased the latest/hottest products that were either available for purchase or giveaway.
I had the pleasure of discussing Bracket Ears with President & CEO B. Casey Crafton and Marketing Director Jeanne Hyatt whom are located in Columbia, Maryland. The fashionable concept was brainstormed from the daughters of Dr. Crafton to help boost patient’s self-esteem. Bracket Ears is a line of accessories which includes hypoallergenic earrings and colorful bracelets. As I discussed the products with Dr. Crafton and Ms. Hyatt, I stumbled upon fun designs that were specially made for holidays, HS/College sports teams, and young girls. In addition, the earrings can be added as charms to your bracket bracelets. Throughout the evening, guests were given complimentary bracket ears earrings.
InStyle magazine’s Style Ambassador Tai Beauchamp shared fashion and beauty tips including trendy styles and colors for the fall. Sephora makeup artists performed demos and provided consultations on selective makeup. Invisalign was the focal point as guests signed up for 3D consultations and met with Orthodontists to discuss oral care. The pop-up was AAO’s first NYFW event which may become annual due to its success. Brighter you, bigger smile.
